Irene Cedillo began working for HIP in April of 2010 as a Manager for Membership and Special Events in the San Francisco office. Prior to joining HIP, Irene worked as a Conference Coordinator for the Brookings Institution and the International Monetary Fund in Washington D.C. In these roles, Irene led the strategy and execution of hundreds of events including press briefings, conferences and international summits for visiting foreign dignitaries and cabinet members. Since moving to the Bay Area, Irene has been a volunteer event planner and development coordinator for Zambaleta, a non-profit music and dance school in San Francisco.

Irene attended Schiller International University in Madrid, Spain, where she received her BA in International Business. Born and raised in Sevilla, Spain, Irene grew up dancing flamenco – a passion she continues to pursue here in the U.S.
