In the summer of 2004, local HIP members gathered for a barbeque at the Tides Foundation in the Presidio in San Francisco.  In the fall, we screened the documentary Farmingville at the Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana (MACLA) Museum in San Jose and held a panel discussion focusing on day-laborer issues in the Bay Area.  And, most recently, HIP members gathered with grantees of the Funders' Collaborative for a lunch panel on "Balancing Effective Leadership & Management".
