Hispanics in Philanthropy's Grantee List

HIP seeks to increase resources for the Latino civil sector by bringing foundation, corporate, government and individual dollars together to form funding collaboratives to support Latino nonprofits in the U.S. and Latin America. HIP has two programs that concentrate specifically on building the capacity of Latino nonprofits and Latino diaspora communities while further serving HIP’s mission of strengthening Latino leadership, increasing awareness about Latino issues and stimulating dialogue about how to better serve the Latino community and Latin America.

Through these programs HIP has provided grants more than 500 Latino nonprofits in 18 sites throughout the United States and Latin America

The Funders’ Collaborative brings together local and national foundations, corporations, government entities, and individual donors to provide capacity building grants to grassroots Latino nonprofits in 18 regions across the U.S. and Latin America. Currently, the Funders’ Collaborative has raised more than $36 million for Latino communities.

Transnational Programs
As an innovative leader among its global constituents, HIP’s transnational programs partners with numerous organizations throughout Latin America to strengthen relationships, connections, and collaboration among civil sector leaders across national borders. Rooted in a spirit of collaboration, the transnational program reflects the reality of the contemporary world, where global economics and institutional structures make decision-making and problem-solving across borders increasingly necessary.

Latino Giving Partnerships for Strong Latino Communities
The Latino Giving Partnership program engages individual donors and assists community foundations with outreach to individuals to increase giving to Latino communities. Consisting of community leaders, business owners, and families, the partnership provides Latino organizations with grants that aid in capacity-building, leadership training, and greater visibility within the field of philanthropy.
