The mission of Archdiocesan Caritas is to motivate and coordinate the charity actions of the Church and to provide social services to the general public. They received a grant to create a strategic communications plan.

 

Asociación Amigos Museo Nacional Estancia Jesuítica de Alta Gracia y Casa del Virrey Liniers

Asociación Amigos is a cultural organization affiliated with the Estancia Jesuítica Museum.  Their grant is for developing a methodology and tools for utilizing the Museum’s resources.

 

Asociación Casa del Liberado Córdoba

Asociación Casa is a nonprofit civil association that works towards crime prevention, assuring the enforcement and the acknowledgement of human rights. The Asociación received a grant to improve their systems, communications and visibility.

This civic association is a participant in an Early Education Initiative funded in part by the Argentina Funders’ Collaborative.  The Initiative’s mission is to contribute to the development of children from 0-to-6 years of age in the Cordoba region.

Asociación para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (ADIFA)

ADIFA’s mission is to provide social services in the areas of education, health, recreation and labor.  Their grant will be used to put into operation their cultural and recreational center El Diquecito.

 

Asociación de Docentes de Ciencias Biológicas de la Argentina

$5,000/ 1 year

The Asociación works to improve the quality of life of homeless children, youth, teenagers and their families. The capacity building grant will be used to implement a communications network.

 

Asociación de Emprendedores Arte y Tierra

$4,700/ 1 Year

The Asociación’s mission is to foment the development of self-sustaining micro-enterprises in the areas of art and artesan goods.  Their grant is to create a space for expression of the Universal Rights of Children through music.

 

Asociación Mutual Carlos Mujica

The Asociación develops self management practices for local populations. The capacity building grant will be used to strengthen communications.

 

Association of Parents and Friends

of Mentally Disabled People (APADIM)

$5,100/ 1 year

APADIM Cordoba is a nonprofit organization which works to provide health and social services to mentally disabled people. They received capacity building support to improve their communications.

 

Association of Parents and Friends for the Diagnosis, Rehabilitation and Orientation for the People with Brain Damage (APADRO)

APADRO is a nonprofit organization that stimulates and rehabilitates children and youth with cognitive and motor disabilities. They received a capacity building grant to improve their overall services.

 

Asociación Programa Cambio

The Asociación works to prevent and facilitate in the recovery from drug dependency.  They have received a grant to create a communication network that optimizes interaction and exchange between institutions.

 

Asociación para la Promoción de Organizaciones y Habitat en Colón (APROHCOL)

APROHCOL promotes the formation of self-sustainable family organizations within low-income communities.  Their grant is to increase APROHCOL’s public visibility through a webpage.

 

Asociación Teatro la Luna

Teatro la Luna produces and promotes art with socio-cultural contexts.  Their grant is to create an investment fund and auction.

 

Biblioteca Popular Alfonsina Storni

$4,000/ 1 year

The library provides education on human rights in order to promote equal opportunities. They received a grant to create a network of communications for institutions and groups of youth involved in the arts.

 

Biblioteca Rayito del Sol

This library is a participant in an Early Education Initiative funded in part by the Argentina Funders’ Collaborative.  The Initiative’s mission is to contribute to the development of children from 0-to-6 years of age in the Cordoba region.

 

CARITAS Dean Funes

$2,300/ 1 Year

CARITAS works to serve the marginalized communities of its region through its affiliation with the church.  Their grant is to create a formal communication channel to share information between CARITAS and the community.

 

C.A.S.C (Assistance Center for the Suicidal Cordoba)

$4,500/ 1 year

The mission of the Center is to aid people in crisis and offer suicide prevention. CASC received a grant to build their management and internal capacity.

 

CEDILIJ (Dissemination and Research of Child and Youth Literature Center)

$5,000/ 1 year

CEDILIJ works in projects and programs linked with the dissemination of quality books, reading and libraries, training and advising of professionals and institutions, and research and outreach actions for the community.  CEDILIJ received a capacity building grant to be used towards their internal and external communications.

 

Centro de Educación Popular Paolo Freire

This education center is a participant in an Early Education Initiative funded in part by the Argentina Funders’ Collaborative.  The Initiative’s mission is to contribute to the development of children from 0-to-6 years of age in the Cordoba region.

 

Centro Educativo Municipal María del Carmen Sanchez Marquez

This education center is a participant in an Early Education Initiative funded in part by the Argentina Funders’ Collaborative.  The Initiative’s mission is to contribute to the development of children from 0-to-6 years of age in the Cordoba region.

 

Centro de Orientación Vocacional

$2,000/ 1 year

The Centro provides programs to assist youth in their self-identification and maturation processes. The grant will be used to elaborate and implement an orientation program for secondary schools.

 

CEPRAM (Center for the Promotion of the Senior Adult)

$5,000/ 1 year

CEPRAM’s mission is to promote the psychological well-being, social opportunities and civil conditions of senior citizens. CEPRAM received a grant to create a communications plan for their senior services.

 

CIPRES (Education and Health Promotion Center)

This organization is a participant in an Early Education Initiative funded in part by the Argentina Funders’ Collaborative.  The Initiative’s mission is to contribute to the development of children from 0-to-6 years of age in the Cordoba region.

 

Comisión Arquidiocesana de Pastoral

de Juventud

The commission supports youth in the Archdiocese of Cordoba. They received a grant to create a communications network between the youth groups of the diocese.

 

Conciencia

$3,000/ 1 year

Conciencia promotes civil participation by teaching the principles of the formation of the republic and the constitution. The grant will be used to implement a communications plan.

 

Construyendo un Futuro

El Maizal creates alliances and exchange between organizations in the province. The capacity building grant will be used to work with the community to create a strategic plan.

 

Fundación Ambiente, Cultura y Desarrollo

$5,000/ 1 year

The Fundación promotes activities to support sustainable development, especially in the improvement of environment, education and socioeconomics in poor and underdeveloped regions. This grant will be used to create a member network.

 

Fundación Banco de Alimentos

$4,100/ 1 year

The Fundación works to fight hunger in the Córdoba region through community outreach, cafeterias, and within schools.  They have received a grant to train the directors and cooks of their community aid programs.

 

Fundación Brújula Barrial

This organization is a participant in an Early Education Initiative funded in part by the Argentina Funders’ Collaborative.  The Initiative’s mission is to contribute to the development of children from 0-to-6 years of age in the Cordoba region.

 

 

 

Fundación CLACYD

(Cordoba, Lactation, Nutrition, Growth

and Development)

CLACYD’s mission is in the areas of epidemiologic research, community outreach, and human resources formation related to nutrition, growth and development, integral and reproductive health, aimed at interdisciplinary health teams.  CLACYD received a capacity building grant to research and develop strategies for strengthening their organization.

 

Fundación Despertar

$2,500/ 1 year

Fundación Despertar promotes, develops and executes programs of social development. They received a grant to implement a communications plan.

 

Fundación Encuentros

$5,100/ 1 year

Encuentros works with mentally disabled people as they enter old age so that they may live happily and remain within their current social environments. Encuentros received a grant to upgrade their technical equipment and develop a training program for volunteers.

 

Fundación Jean Piaget

$5,100/ 1 year

The Foundation is a nonprofit technical organization which carries on activities in the education field with the mission of promoting the right to education as the fundamental axis in the responsible exercise of citizenship.  They received a grant to build a new organizational website.

 

Fundación La Luciernaga

$3,500/ 1 year

The Foundation works to improve the quality of life of homeless children, youth, adolescents and their families. They received a grant to create a communications center for a group of teenagers and youth who sell the magazine La Luciernaga.

 

Fundación Maud Mannoni

$4,500/ 1 year

Fundación Maud Mannoni works to develop the intellectual and physical capabilities of the disabled, as well as provide for their care and integration into society.  This grant is to create a communications network for exchange of ideas and experiences dealing with the disabled.

 

Fundación para el Desarrollo del Este Córdoba

$4,500/ 1 year

The Fundación supports the well being of the community by promoting studies and research in the sciences and arts in order to develop a harmonious region by promoting local skills and capacity. They received a grant to promote the communication and information exchange between members in their five regions.

 

Fundación por el Teatro

$4,700/ 1 year

The foundation works to preserve their community’s cultural identity through the performing arts.  They have received a grant to increase performing arts participation amongst children and adolescents.

 

Fudasi

$4,500/ 1 year

Fudasi works to support those living with downs syndrome. The capacity building grant will be used to educate parents, donors and professors on the development capacity and possibilities of social integration for teenagers with downs syndrome.

 

Granja Siquem Asociación Civil

$5,100/ 1 year

Granja Siquem Asociación Civil works with youth and children, fighting for a just and inclusive world. They received a capacity building grant to develop a public image that will increase their levels of social support and sustainability.

 

Guardería Infantil Municipal Arturo Ilia

This pre-school is a participant in an Early Education Initiative funded in part by the Argentina Funders’ Collaborative.  The Initiative’s mission is to contribute to the development of children from 0-to-6 years of age in the Cordoba region.

 

Hogar San José

This home for women and children is a participant in an Early Education Initiative funded in part by the Argentina Funders’ Collaborative.  The Initiative’s mission is to contribute to the development of children from 0-to-6 years of age in the Cordoba region.

 

Institución Sullai

Institución Sullai provides social services to the handicapped. The capacity building grant will be used to develop a fundraising plan.

 

Instituto Domingo Cabred

INECIP promotes the study of the disciplinary sciences and related disciplines.  Their grant is to increase the organization’s communications through their magazine and the creation of a bulletin.

Liga Argentina de Lucha Contra el Cancer

$2,000/ 1 year

The Liga promotes the prevention and early detection of cancer. This capacity building grant will be used to increase communications to high risk individuals

 

Los Algarrobos

$4,600/ 1 year

Los Algarrobos generates, supports, and sponsors sustainable development projects. The capacity building grant will be used to communicate and raise awareness about the issues surrounding the Cuenca del Lago in San Roque.

 

Organización Argentina de Jóvenes de las Naciones Unidas (OAJNU)

$3,500/ 1 Year

This United-Nations affiliated organization works to foster civil responsibility and the next generation of citizen leaders.  The grant is to help increase resources for an analysis of the current social realities of formal education.

 

Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Trabajo

This pre-school is a participant in an Early Education Initiative funded in part by the Argentina Funders’ Collaborative.  The Initiative’s mission is to contribute to the development of children from 0-to-6 years of age in the Cordoba region.

 

Perspectiva Social

$3,500/ 1 year

Perspectiva Social promotes popular health and the right to a dignified life. The grant will be used to create a strategic plan.

 

Pilar Sport Club

$5,000/ 1 year

The Pilar Sport Club is a nonprofit organization formed by neighbors committed to the development of sport and recreational activities, oriented specifically for children and adolescents. The Club received a grant to create a plan for recruiting new members.

 

Popular Library Mariano Moreno

$5,000/ 1 year

The library’s mission is to foster culture and all knowledge that tends to promote social change as well as the study and the conservation of cultural heritage. They received a grant to build an external communications plan.

 

Prosalud

$5,100/ 1 year

Prosalud promotes health, the prevention of disease and the control of its psychological impact. The capacity building grant will be used to create a communications plan focused on HIV prevention.

 

Radio Clásico y Moderna

$3,500/ 1 year

Radio Clásico is a community radio station in Córdoba.  They have received a capacity-building grant to consolidate their communications strategy in accordance with the station’s mission.

 

Refugio Nocturno

$5,000/ 1 year

The Refugio provides services to individuals needing immediate assistance. Refugio Nocturno received a capacity building grant to create a publicity plan in order to reach out to local communities and create a culture of solidarity.

 

Sindicato de Amas de Casa (SACRA)

$4,500/ 1 year

SACRA provides training, development and other services to home-makers.  Their grant is to develop a method of calculating an economic value for domestic work.

 

SOS País (SOS Country)

$5,100/ 1 year

SOS is a communications agency which works with NGOs to make their mission known as well as to promote their activities in the community. They received a capacity building grant to improve their services and expand their coverage.

 

Tagua
