Hispanics in Philanthropy was founded in 1983 when a handful of Latinos working in philanthropy recognized the value of coming together to encourage greater investments in Hispanic communities. Twenty-five years later, HIP is a vibrant transnational network of more than 550 members in the U.S. and Latin America and has raised more than $36 million for Latino communities. HIP engages foundations, corporations and individual donors in wide-impact philanthropic initiatives across the Americas to create social change that goes beyond national boundaries.
